Getting an idea.

We have come up with some good ideas for the RSA brief, they both revolve around the idea of people being busy and coming to work.

The first idea is something to cheer up a otherwise scary and pee soaked area of some commuters journey, this would be the underpass. Everyone hates going under these tunnels, they are viewed as a place where people get mugged, shot and beaten up. What if you could transform an underpass so more people would go under it? What if you could make people feel more relaxed and spiritual while going to work? Well it's a very early idea, but if we choose this idea we plan on selecting an underpass somewhere in or around the centre of Sheffield and setting up a dark room. Where relaxing sounds are played as relaxing words are shown on the walls through projection. As I said, early days.

The second idea we feel is much more grounded, as we keep coming back to it and adding to it. What we want to do is create a database for images by setting up a stall in each major train station in the country and give our free drinks to busy commuters that usually have the same boring daily trip. In the cup is a spiritual quote, written down the inside. While the person is reading this quote they can take a picture of the side of the cup that has a barcode on it, instantly downloading the app. Once they have finished the drink they can take a picture of the quote and it will be uploaded to the database. The database will be nothing but a mosaic of images that people have uploaded, each picture that is uploaded adds to a song.

We still need to work out what would make people want to do this, and how to possibly make them slow down as appose to them just getting our free drink and just drinking it. We need some sort of incentive or hook.
